Grand Banks Implements Customer-Direct Sales Model

HOLLAND, MI – October 08, 2015 – Grand Banks has launched a new customer-direct sales model in North America, meaning customers now have direct access to the best yacht salespeople in the industry, regardless of where they live. Grand Banks directly employs professional sales consultants who have been among the top Grand Banks and Palm Beach Yachts sales leaders for more than a decade. These sales pros exclusively represent Grand Banks and Palm Beach Yachts and are now available as personal consultants for all of their clients' yacht buying and selling needs.

"Our sales professionals all have one thing in mind and in common," said Dave Northrop, North American sales director for Grand Banks and Palm Beach. "They are focused on supporting their customers in the purchase and enjoyment of Grand Banks and Palm Beach yachts, no matter where they live or boat. We don't have other brands and, as a consequence, aren't distracted. We concentrate on pairing our customer with the right boat versus pushing them into something that may not be the right fit, but has a better profit margin for the dealership. Our sales team also has direct access to our factory design staff to manage all of a customer's needs as a yacht is built to their exact preferences."

Key members of the sales and service team include:

Dave Northrop

North American Sales Director

Dave joined Grand Banks in August 2014 and brings with him more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in growing some of the most prestigious U.S. and international yacht brands, as well as operating a successful marina and retail dealership. Dave has represented Palm Beach Yachts for several years before picking up responsibility for Grand Banks, as well.

Brian Dekkinga

Carvey Iannuzzi

Grand Banks and Palm Beach yacht broker

Carvey, who joined the Grand Banks team in August 2014, has been a key member of the Palm Beach sales team in the Americas. Carvey spent four years as both a regional and national sales manager with Brunswick Corporation before moving to the Great Lakes region to run a multi-location dealership.

Julee Jackson

Grand Banks and Palm Beach yacht broker

Julee's 30 years of diverse sales experience includes owning and operating a bed & breakfast and working as a regional sales manager for premium motor homes. Since 1996, Jackson has devoted herself to selling Grand Banks yachts, traveling up and down the East Coast and abroad selling and listing Grand Banks yachts. The long-standing client relationships she has developed over the years are a testament to her devotion for individualized time and attention.

Clute Ely

Grand Banks and Palm Beach yacht broker

Clute grew up working at his family-owned yacht sales business and was a competitive sailboat racer for many years. He is proficient in the handling and management of yachts of all sizes, and has consistently maintained his status as a top-five broker for Grand Banks for more than a decade. Clute has also maintained our top rating in the Grand Banks Customer Satisfaction Index since the inception of the program. We are pleased that Clute has now joined our factory team and will operate out of his long-standing Rowayton, Conn., office and marina.

"We are excited about the team we have developed," Northrop said. "We expect Grand Banks customers will find their needs met better than they ever have been. No matter where customers live or boat, we can help them get into a newera Grand Banks and/or sell their existing yacht. Our new customer-direct model is all about maximizing the buying-owning-selling experience."
